buffy's biology teacher is killed by a giant praying mantis that assumes the form of a beautiful substitute teacher.
Behind the Scenes
the praying mantis puppet is actually a re-use of the na'grath prop from the first season of babylon 5 (1993), which used the same make-up company. musetta vander, who plays the she-mantis, also guest-starred in babylon 5.
